Wunderschöner Erholungsort mitten in der Natur
Die wunderschöne kleine Ferienwohnung von Horst liegt mitten in der Natur nahe des wundervollen kleinen Orts Buschemi. Ob Entspannen am Pool, Lesen in der Hängematte oder Wein auf der Terasse mitten im Grünen - dieser Ferienort birgt viel Raum für tiefe Erholung. Die Stille, das Panorama, die Olivenhügel, die pure Sonne und das tolle italienische Flair - es gibt so viele Gründe dieses Feriendomizil weiterzuempfehlen. Circa 10 Autominuten entfernt gibt es eine große Auswahl an tollen Restaurants und Cafés. Ausflüge zum Ätna, nach Catania und andere schöne Ziele sind wunderbar möglich. Horst ist ein toller Gastgeber, der sich auf jeder Ebene um seine Gäste kümmert und viele großartige Empfehlungen hat. Ein rundum gelungenes Urlaubserlebnis!

Peaceful place in the beautiful nowhere
We didn't really know where we were going, as we've choosen the place in an strategic attempt to being rather close to the east cost, but not in the middle of everything. We couldn't have chosen better! Our first impression was a bit of surprise, how far off everything this mountainy village was. But what a pretty one. Buscemi is a pearl in the mountain, and nearbey UNESCO heritage town Palazzolo is georgeous and provides everything you need. Horst and Josepina welcomed us so nicely and have created a fantastic space for friendly travelers to enjoy their peaceful time. We were lucky and the first nights we were the only guests in the 3-appartments setup. The other half, a friendly couple was our neighbour, which was also really nice. It was very hot these days, so we weren't willing to make real plans. Otherwise we'd really have enjoyed the offerings of Horst of a quad tour, or also to make use of the dinner offering they have there. Instead, we used the very nice grill there to make good BBQ with fish from the sea or local Salsiccia sausage. Just a bit worrying was the last night, in which the other side of the hill was burnt down (apparently intentionally and controlled), and in the next morning we saw that also the road, which would have been the only escape route, also had cought fire. That was quite irritating and in the times of heavy wood fires in sicily, I'd have wished for better communication with the host.

Entspannte Lage, netter Gastgeber, hat uns abgeholt, uns das „Dorf erklärt“, allerdings muss beachtet werden, das Ausflüge in Nachbarstädte wie Noto oder Syrakus mit mindestens einer Stunde Autofahrt verbunden sind… abends daher etwas schwierig, wenn noch ein oder zwei Wein getrunken wird!!! Im Dorf selbst alle sehr freundlich, vor allem die Salumeria ist zu empfehlen!

Sehr saubere und geschmackvolle Ferienwohnungen mit herausragendem Blick auf ein Tal voller Olivenhaine und einem toll gepflegtem Aussenbereich ermöglichen sofortige Entspannung. Der Vermieter Horst ist ein toller Gastgeber, der mit viel Mühe und Liebe fürs Detail dafür sorgt, dass sich die Gäste wohl fühlen. Er bietet Quad-Touren zu besonderen Orten in der Gegend an, unbedingt mitmachen, das lohnt sich! Der Ort Buscemi bietet alles für den wichtigsten Bedarf und vor allem eine tolle Kulisse, um das typische Dorfleben sizilianischer Bergdörfer zu erleben. Durch die Lage nahe des Val di Noto ist jeder Ort in der Umgebung einen eigenen Besuch wert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

„This place is the definition of „heaven on earth“, we had a dream of vacations. 10 days were definitely too short and it was so hard to say goodbye to this place and such friendly and heartwarming people. Horst was a great and caring host in all aspects. We felt at home immediatley. The landscape (and view) is simply stunning, you have everything you need in the appartement, Paola is a GREAT cook (try Albergo Diffuso!) and Buscemi (the village next by) is a very small but very nice sicilian village with lovely people where you get everything you need. The only difficult decision during this holidays is whether to relax at the pool or in the hammok. We‘ll be back soon! Ci vediamo :)“

Le village de Buscemi est un village simple et authentique loin des villes touristiques avec des personnages d'une extrême gentillesse. Les rencontres avec le boulanger et le boucher restent des moments inoubliables. Une piscine pour se rafraîchir, un logement avec toutes les commodités, un accueil chaleureux. Un dernier dîner préparé par Guiseppina excellent et copieux de toutes les bonnes choses que l'on peut manger en Sicile. En résumé, un séjour de rêve.“

Our stay in 1 word was fantastic! Horst is a great host who comes by every day to check everything is ok and to check the pool conditions and everything. The area itself is beautiful and perfect for the ending of our vacation. Horst arranged an at home sicilian dinner for us with a local who has cooked for us, this was really nice! All in all a place we will not forget!“

Wer im Urlaub Ruhe, Entspannung und Natur sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir waren Ende Mai /Anfang Juni 2019 da und hatten leider kein Glück mit dem Wetter. Aber abgesehen davon, war alles perfekt. Horst war als Ansprechpartner immer erreichbar, hat uns mit Tipps versorgt. Im Appartement ist alles vorhanden, von der Bio-Seife, - duschgel, -shampoo, - spülmittel, Fön, über Bettwäsche und Handtücher usw... Von dem tollen Pool ganz zu schweigen! Ein Auto sollte man haben, damit steht dann dem frischen Brot zum Frühstück nichts im Weg (In ca. 5 min ist man in Buscemi, hier bekommt man eigentlich alles nötige). Traumhafte Natur zum Wandern direkt vor der Haustür! Von uns gibt's ein absolut empfehlenswert!“

All pictures are true and the places looks even way more beautiful. This is really a dream heaven spot on Sicilly. The perfect place for a toal Zen and relaxation. Horst was so friendly and provided us with all information in details about the flat, the locations and the sites around the farm. We have also ordered a full dinner deliverd to the flat and it was awsome. Real local bio-organic Sicilian dinner. We will certainly come back!“

The place is stunning. The view is even more impressive once we reach the vicinity. The weather was still cold un April this year and we didn't have the chance to experience the beautiful pool. Therefore we enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and exploring nearby cities : Raguse, Modica, Palazzolo... It was great and convenient to cook in the cabin. In a nutshell, it was a very confortable and relaxing stay exactly as we envisioned our vacation. Thank you also for the nice tips (market, easter celebrations, restaurant...) !
